FAQ

 

1.  What color do the hair come in?

     The hair is 100% remy virgin unprocessed hair therefore does not come in any colors other than Natural brown or Natural black but can be died to any color of your choice.  Just remember the lighter you go the more it'll dry out the hair and you'll need to condition the hair more.

 

2.  How is the hair measured?

     The Hair is measured in the stretched out position.

 

3.  How many bundles will I need for a full install?

     This will depend on the length of the hair that you're installing.  The shorter the hair, the longer the bundle will be.  I recommend 2-3 bundles per     install depending on the length of hair ordered.  If further information is needed feel free to contact me at info@SeauxExquisiteHair.com

 

4.  Can the wavy/curly hair be straightened?

     Of coarse this hair can be straightened with the use of a flat iron and will return to it's natural state when shampooed.  Just remember like any natural hair the more you straighten the more it'll begin to loose it's natural curl/wave.

 

5.  What type of shampoo should I use?

     Any Sulfate free shampoo will work great along with a sulfate free conditioner or moisturizing conditioner.

 

6.  Why should I deep condition this hair?

     Deep conditioning the hair will help the hair last longer and stay healthy.  It'll replenish moisture lost from constant styling.  Deep conditioning the hair every other wash will prevent drying of the hair.  Being that it's raw virgin hair it need to be moisturized to keep it's natural look, especially when heat styling.

 

7.   Does the hair shed?

     There is very minimal shedding, but we do recommend a weft sealant that will prevent excessive shedding.  Also remember that with proper care shedding will not be a problem.  After co-washing the hair seal your wefts with a weft sealer or you can use fray check which is a colorless liquid plastic solution that help your wefts withstand washing and combing and to prevent excessive shedding.

 

8.  Can this hair be reused?

     Yes... That is the beauty of 100% virgin hair.  As long as you take proper care of the hair it can be reused.

 

9.   Should I co-wash the hair when i get it?

     Yes co-wash the hair before you install it.  We recommend a sulfate free shampoo and a sulfate free or moisturizing conditioner.  After co-washing the hair seal your wefts with a weft sealer or you can use fray check which is a colorless liquid plastic solution that help your wefts withstand washing and combing and to prevent excessive shedding.

 

10.  Should I use heat protector?

      When using heated hair styling tools alwys use a heat protector and remember this hair is just like your natural hair, the more you flat iron and or hot curl the hair it can loose it's natural wave/curl pattern and or texture.   

 

11.  How to determine the lace wig size you need when ordering a Lace Front or Full Lace Wig?

Remember Do Not overprocess the hair.  This is real hair, no synthetic fibers.  Just like your hair the more chemicals you use the more chances you have to destroy it and it's natural state.
